So, fueled by coffee and rebellion, I started building the life I actually wanted.
Creating my own definition of success—I never cared about expensive, flashy things that looked too-good-to-be-true advertised by the highlight reel that is Instagram. What I truly craved was a successful business so I could have more time and freedom to actually enjoy my life. I dreamed of slow, quiet mornings enjoying coffee dates with my little family. I visioned feeling excited to work on my business and grow in a simple and streamlined way while impacting my incredible clients. I daydreamed of a well-balanced life of productive business growth while living at a slower pace, feeling present, tending to my garden, cooking, painting, reading, and spending quality time with my little family—because you get to have it all!
Which is exactly what I’ve created, and want to help you create, too.
My #WATCHME® Business & Life By Design—Since then, I’ve built and scaled three profitable businesses from the ground up and left the corporate world. I’ve been hired for photoshoots across the U.S. and internationally—including the World Karaoke Championships in Finland—and have coached clients from around the globe, many of whom I’ve supported for years. I’ve invested over $125K in my own growth, taken the courses, read the books, and tested all the tools and strategies. After over a decade in business, I’ve learned that your business should be designed to fit you—your values, your quirks, the way you best work, your passions, your lifestyle, and your unique version of success.

After 10+ years in corporate management, HR, and communications—plus a handful of business degrees and certifications—I finally landed (what I thought was) my “dream job.” But I couldn’t shake the feeling, “Is this it?” The guilty truth was, I wanted more.
I was so over feeling exhausted—wasting time commuting to go sit in a cold, dark cubicle while my husband took our girls to the dog park in the sunshine; sitting in yet another this-meeting-could-have-been-an-email dreaming about what fulfilling work would actually feel like; watching another day slip by while my dreams sat on the back-burner…
The moment everything changed—Walking back to my car, check in-hand after a paid photoshoot, it hit me. That 1-hour photo session that flew by because I was fully immersed in joy and excitement (my zone of genius), paid me more than a full 8-hour workday at my day job. I vividly remember the feeling when I realized that I could do work I loved and actually get paid well for it. This idea of more was starting to actually feel possible.
I decided then that this “dream job” was temporary. I would pursue the work I loved and my various passions. I would build a business of my own and make a real impact. I would create more freedom in my life— to travel, to enjoy a mind-day dog park adventure, to take long and slow mornings, or even simply bask in the sunshine because I wanted to. I was committed to make my version of success my reality!
In the process, it also became very clear to me HOW I wanted to build my version of success (and what I didn’t want to touch with a 10-foot-pole). I was done with the hustle-culture noise. No more being chained to my screen, churning out content for algorithms, or following someone else’s formula to “success.” Most of all, I was completely over being inundated with reels that told me I was “missing out” or “doing it wrong,” promising they had the magic-fix if I “signed up right now!” My inner rebel screamed, “F—that!” and promptly deleted social media apps and vowing ****to do business my own way.
